light pink print 2 1/2" squares, 4 pieced rectangles, and blue teacup
novelty print 4 1/2" square to make Sawtooth Star Block (see Diagram
II). Make 3.
Step 3. To cut triangles for ends
of table runner, refer to Diagram III. From ivory solid 8 1/2" x 22"
rectangle, cut 2 triangles that measure 13" along base and 8 1/2"
in height.

Step 4.
Referring to Assembly Diagram, alternately stitch together 4 blue-on-blue
print 1 1/2" x 9" strips and 3 blocks. Trim strips even with blocks.
Note: Rotate blocks as needed to ensure blue teacup print is
consistently upright. Sew blue-on-blue print 1 1/2" x 30" strips to
top and bottom; trim even with sides. Stitch ivory vine print 1 1/2"
x 12" strips to sides; trim even with top/bottom. Stitch remaining
ivory vine print strips to top/bottom; trim even with sides. Sew precut
ivory solid triangles to ends to complete table runner top.

Step 5. Layer and baste table
runner top for quilting method of your choice. Michele used Warm and
Natural¨ batting and machine ditch quilted. Bind quilt with blue teacup
print fabric (see Quiltmaking
Fundamentals).
Step 6. Refer to Finishing Touches
to add vine, leaves, and yo-yos. Hint: Position 5 green plaid
Template B fabrics and 1 pink yo-yo with button on each end of table
runner.
