Sew
Step 1. Trace templates on paper side of paper-backed fusible web. Cut apart, leaving small margin beyond drawn lines. Following manufacturer's instructions, fuse to wrong side of appropriate fabrics; cut apart on drawn lines.
Step 2. Finger-press blue/white dot and white/blue print 6 1/2" squares in half lengthwise and crosswise; use folds as placement guide. Referring to Diagram I, position template fabrics on squares. Following manufacturer's instructions, fuse in place. Appliqué edges using black thread and machine or hand buttonhole stitch (Diagram II-A). Machine satin stitch (Diagram II-B) around bulb tops. Using black embroidery floss and stem stitch (Diagram II-C), add ornament hangers and gingerbread mouth (see templates for placement). Make 4 Ornament Blocks.

Step 3. Referring to photo, tack star buttons on round ornament, holly leaf/berry buttons on candy cane, and black buttons for eyes to gingerbread. Cut 1" pieces of white rickrack and tack to gingerbread arms and legs. Tie small bow with red ribbon and attach with a small white pearl bead to neckline.
Step 4. Referring to Assembly Diagram, sew blocks together. Stitch holiday stripe strips to sides; trim even with top and bottom. Sew remaining stripe strips to top/bottom; trim even with sides to complete the pillow top.

Step 5. Layer pillow top and stripe 16 1/2" square, right sides together. Sew around outside edges using 1/4" seam allowance, leaving an 8" opening on 1 side. Trim corners, turn right side out and insert pillow form. Hand sew opening closed. Glue snowflakes to holiday light bulb.
