Referring to Diagram I, place light green square on red/beige/green print 3 7/8" square, right sides together. Sew 1/4" seam on each side of marked line; cut apart on marked line. Press open to make pieced squares. Make 48 total. Repeat process using medium green texture and red/beige print 3 7/8" squares.
Step 2. Using cream print 3 1/2" square, 2 matching pieced squares, and tan print 3 1/2" square, arrange and sew 2 rows (Diagram II). Sew rows together to make pieced block unit. Make 24 of each.
