2. Repeat the mark, stitch, trim, and press process using orange squares on cream rectangles to make pieced rectangles (Diagram I-B). Make 100 of each arrangement. Sew pieced rectangles and orange square together with small pieced square (Diagram I-C). Make 100. 3. Repeat mark, stitch, trim, and press process using yellow mottle 2" squares on large floral rectangles (Diagram II-A). Make 100. Repeat using large floral squares on yellow texture 4 1/2" squares (Diagram II-B). Make 25. 4. Arrange and sew 3 rows using pieced squares and pieced rectangles (Diagram III). Sew rows together to make Rays of Sunshine Block. Make 25. 5. Referring to Assembly Diagram, sew 5 rows of 5 blocks each. Sew rows together. Stitch orange strips to sides; trim even with top and bottom. Stitch remaining orange strips to top/bottom; trim even with sides. 6. Stitch large floral 88" strips to sides; trim even. Sew remaining large floral strips to top/bottom; trim even. 7. Layer, baste, and quilt. The feature quilt was machine quilted with a meander. A spiral was added in the center of the large yellow squares. Bind with green/blue print.
