Sew!
Step 1. Trace Templates A-C on paper side of paper-backed fusible web. Cut apart, leaving small margin beyond drawn lines. Following manufacturer's instructions, fuse to wrong side of appropriate fabrics; cut apart on drawn lines.
Step 2. Referring to Diagram I, position template fabrics on 10" x 41 1/2" yellow texture strip, using fold lines as placement guide and keeping within 1/4" seam allowance on top and ends. Following manufacturer's instructions, fuse in place. Machine buttonhole stitch (Diagram II) around appliqué.
Step 3. Using 1/4" seam allowance, stitch pink novelty print rectangle to purple texture strip (Diagram III).
Step 4. Fold appliquéd strip in half lengthwise, wrong sides of fabric together. Using Diagram IV as a guide, align raw edges with purple texture strip and stitch 1/4" seam allowance. (Place appliquéd side down.) Press seam allowances in direction of arrows in Diagram V.
Step 5. Using 1/4" seam allowance, stitch layers together along 2 sides as shown in Diagram VI. Turn pillowcase right side out.
