WeBONUS: Click here for pattern to make queen size version of this quilt.

Note: We regret that a cutting error was included in the Illusion pattern published in the May 2007 issue of McCall's Quick Quilts. There should be 26 strips of black floral and 24 strips of black/multicolor dot cut at 2 1/2" x 8 1/2" each, not the 2 1/2" x 8" as was printed. There will be sufficient yardage to cut using the correct dimensions if you have purchased the fabrics as listed. If you have already cut your fabrics using the shorter length, we recommend making your blocks as directed in Steps 1 and 2 (center the strips when stitching to the strip-pieced segments), then squaring up the blocks to 8" x 10 1/2" (finished size 7 1/2" x 10"). Proceed with assembly, following Steps 3 through 5 of the pattern. This will produce a quilt that is 55" x 67 1/2" finished size, 2 1/2" narrower than the patterned quilt. Again, we apologize for the error and any difficulty it may cause our readers. The WeBONUS queen size version has the corrected sizes.
