Can you believe that this lovely quilt is made with just one block and two fabrics? Leah chose the Julianna collection from In The Beginning Fabrics to give her quilt its sweet feel. Elegant but easy, this pattern lends itself to an infinite number of fabric pairings.

... 2 strips 7" x 97", pieced from 5 width of fabric (WOF) strips
... 2 strips 7" x 93", pieced from 5 WOF strips
... 14 strips 2 1/2" x WOF
... 7 strips 4 1/2" x WOF
... 82 strips 2 1/2" x 8 1/2"
Black/multicolor dot
... 2 strips 2 1/2" x 96", pieced from 5 WOF strips
... 2 strips 2 1/2" x 82", pieced from 5 WOF strips

Sew!
1. Referring to Diagram I, stitch black floral 2 1/2" x WOF strips to sides of black/multicolor dot 4 1/2" strip. Make 7. Press in direction of arrows. Cut into 41 segments 6 1/2" wide. In same manner, sew black dot 2 1/2" x WOF strips and black floral 4 1/2" strip together to make strip set. Make 7. Press, and cut into 40 segments 6 1/2" wide.
