Sew!
Step 1.
Trace Templates A-D on paper side of paper-backed fusible web. Cut apart, leaving small margin beyond drawn lines. Following manufacturer's instructions, fuse to wrong side of appropriate fabrics; cut apart on drawn lines.
Step 2. Finger-press assorted bright 6" x 9" rectangle in half on both length and width; use folds as placement guide. Referring to Diagram I and photo, position template fabrics in alphabetical order, keeping in mind 1/4" seam allowances. Following manufacturer's instructions, fuse in place. Machine or hand buttonhole stitch (Diagram II) around appliqué. Make 3 Appliqué Blocks total.

Step 3. Referring to Assembly Diagram, sew row of 3 blocks, placing sandal block
in center. Stitch black 1 1/2" x 11" strips to sides; trim even with top and bottom. Stitch remaining black strips to top/bottom; trim even with sides. Add embellishments to bikinis and sandals as desired. Hint: Instead of sewing on buttons, Jereé cut off the shanks as needed and glued the buttons onto the project, so that they would lie flat. She also cut 2 sets of 2 matching strips 1/2" x 2 1/2" from assorted bright fabric, tied each strip in a knot in the middle, and tacked them to the sides of the bikini bottoms. Do likewise if you wish.

Step 4. Layer pillow top and black 11" x 19" rectangle, right sides together, and sew 1/4" seam around all edges, leaving 4" opening. Trim corners; turn right side out. Stuff with Poly-fil® stuffing; hand sew opening closed.
