Sew! Step 1. Referring to Diagram I, make 81 total Simply Fabulous Blocks. Diagram I Step 2. Refer to Assembly Diagram for following steps. Sew 9 block rows using 9 blocks and 8 green strips each. Stitch 8 sashing rows using 9 green strips and 8 light green squares each. Sew rows together. Step 3. Stitch green 1 1/2" x 78" strips to sides; trim even with top and bottom. Stitch remaining green strips to top and bottom; trim even with sides. Sew cream floral strips 6" x 78" to sides; trim even. Stitch remaining 6" x 90" strips to top/bottom; trim even. Assembly Diagram Step 4. Layer, baste, and quilt. Nancy machine quilted an overall looping pattern. Bind with dark green fabric (see Quiltmaking Fundamentals).
