Sew Step 1. Sew Window Block (Diagram I). Make 35 total. Step 2. Referring to Assembly Diagram, sew 7 block rows using 5 blocks and 4 black 2 1/2" x 11" strips each. Alternating block rows with black 2 1/2" x 64" pieced strips, sew rows together; trim strips even with block rows. Step 3. Sew black 6 1/2" x 89" strips to sides; trim even with top and bottom. Stitch 6 1/2" x 75" black strips to top/bottom; trim even with sides. Step 4. Layer, baste and quilt. Julie machine quilted diagonal lines across the quilt in both directions. Bind with black fabric.
