Belle France Beauties - Page 2 Step 1 Referring to Diagram I, arrange and stitch 3 rows using 2 1/2" squares and 2 1/2" x 4 1/2" floral rectangles. Sew rows together to make pieced square. Make 2 of each arrangement shown in desired color combination. Step 2 On wrong side of blue dot (beige print) 2 7/8" square, draw diagonal line with marking tool of your choice. Referring to Diagram II-A, place blue dot (beige print) square on green print (rose print) 2 7/8" square, right sides together. Sew 1/4" seam on each side of marked line; cut apart on marked line. Press open to make pieced squares. Make 16 of desired color combination. Arrange and sew 2 rows of 2 pieced squares each and sew to top and bottom of blue dot (beige print) 2 1/2" x 4 1/2" strip to make pieced rectangle (see Diagram II-B).
