Step 3. Referring to Assembly
Diagram, arrange squares into Rail Fence design by positioning red strip
in diagonal setting. Sew horizontal rows; sew rows together.

Step 4. Referring to Assembly
Diagram, sew 2 1/4" x 62" black strips to sides of quilt;
trim even with top and bottom. Sew black strips to top and bottom; trim
even with sides. Sew outer plaid borders in the same manner.
Step 5. Layer and baste quilt top for
quilting method of your choice and quilt as desired. Bind with red solid.
