Sew
Step 1. Trace Templates A-E on paper side of paper-backed fusible web. Cut apart, leaving small margin beyond drawn lines. Following manufacturer's instructions, fuse to wrong side of appropriate fabrics. Cut apart on drawn lines.
Step 2. Finger-press yellow 12 1/2" squares in half lengthwise and crosswise; use folds for placement guide. Position template fabrics (Diagram I). Following manufacturer's instructions, fuse in place. Make 3 Pumpkin Blocks total. Using machine zigzag stitch (Diagram II) and black thread, Kathy stitched around the pumpkins and stems.
Step 3. Referring to Assembly Diagram, sew green 2" x 12 1/2" strips between blocks. Add green side border strips; trim even with top/bottom. Stitch remaining green strips to top/bottom; trim even with sides.

Step 4. Layer, baste, and quilt. Kathy machine echo quilted around the pumpkins and outlined stitched the blocks. Bind with orange mottle.
