Step 6 (Eye Glass Case)
Referring to Diagram XII, sew 1 1/2" x 7 1/4" strips together.
Press. Place Template A on top of pieced strips and cut out to make
striped unit. Sew Template B fabric to striped unit (see Diagram XIII).
Using Template C, cut polyester fleece. Layer dark blue lining (right
side down), fleece, and striped unit (right side up), and referring
to Diagram XIV, follow arrows and machine-satin-stitch around top. Fold
and continue satin-stitching around outside of eyeglass case, following
arrows (see Diagram XV). Use hook and loop tape as fastener.
Place Template A on top
of strips and cut out.
