Step 6. Referring to Assembly Diagram, arrange and sew 4 block rows using 3 Fish Blocks and 2 bright blue mottle 4 1/2" x 8 1/2" rectangles each. Sew 3 sashing rows using 3 bright blue mottle 4 1/2" x 10 1/2" rectangles and 2 Pinwheel Blocks each. Alternately stitch block rows and sashing rows together.
Step 7. Sew 22-rectangle pieced border strips to sides. Stitch Starfish Blocks to ends of 19-rectangle strips; sew to top/bottom of quilt.

Step 8. Layer and baste quilt top for quilting method of your choice. Fran machine quilted a meandering curlicue design in a vertical motion, covering the entire quilt. Bind quilt with bright blue mottle fabric (See Basic Quiltmaking Instructions).

Using Chenille By The Inch™
Photo #1:
Remove tear-away backing. Cut into strips using rotary cutter and ruler centered between sewn lines.
Photo #2: Using marking tool of choice, mark design onto right side of fabric. Stitching along pre-sewn line, sew strips to fabric following drawn lines. Hint: Backstitch at beginning and end of each seam.
Photo #3: Using Chenille Brush™, brush vigorously to fluff chenille. Hint: First dampen sewn strips with water using spray bottle. Note: Launder finished project to increase chenille fluff.
