3. Arrange and sew 3 rows using red print 2 1/2" squares, novelty print 2 1/2" x 6 1/2" and 2 1/2" x 4 1/2" rectangles, and photo holder rectangle (Diagram II). Sew rows together. Diagram II 4. See Assembly Diagram and sew white-on-white 1 1/2" x 14" strips to top and bottom; trim even with sides. Stitch remaining white strips to sides; trim even with top/bottom. Assembly Diagram 5. Layer and baste photo frame for quilting method of your choice. Elayne centered machine decorative stitches to quilt on each novelty print strip and stitched diagonal lines on each corner square. Bind quilt with bias cut red/green/white stripe fabric (see Quiltmaking Fundamentals). 6.
