*Cut first.

Step 1. Trace Templates A and B on paper side of paper-backed fusible web. Cut apart, leaving small margin beyond drawn line. Following manufacturer's instructions, fuse to wrong side of appropriate fabrics; cut apart on drawn line. Finger press yellow 6" square in half on both length and width; use folds as placement guide. Referring to Diagram I and photo, position template fabrics in alphabetical order on yellow square. Following manufacturer's instructions, fuse in place. Appliqué edges by hand or machine using buttonhole stitch (see Diagram II) to complete Basket Block. Make 4.
