A Tisket-a-Tasket

You Need:
Gold print (baskets, flower centers) ... 3/4 yd.
Red print (flowers, sashing, Nine-patch Blocks) ... 3/4 yd.
Green stripe (leaves, binding) ... 3/4 yd.
Cream/yellow print (background, sashing, Nine-patch Blocks) ... 1 3/4 yds.
Navy/red floral print (outer border) ... 1 5/8 yds.
Backing (piece widthwise) ... 3 1/8 yds.
Batting ... Twin size
Paper-backed fusible web ... 2 1/2 yds.
Sewing thread
Machine quilting thread

Note: Click here to download template diagrams. Templates are printed reversed and without seam allowance for use with paper-backed fusible web.

Cut It!
Gold print
... 12 Template A
... 12 Template C
Red print
... *13 strips 1 1/2" x width of fabric (WOF)
... 12 Template B

Green stripe
... 36 Template D
Cream/yellow print

... *20 strips 1 1/2" x WOF
... 12 squares 9 1/2" x 9 1/2"
Navy/red floral print
... 4 strips 4 1/4" x 55", cut on lengthwise grain
*Cut first.

Sew It!
1.
Trace Templates A-D on paper side of paper-backed fusible web. Cut apart, leaving small margin beyond drawn lines. Following manufacturer's instructions, fuse to wrong side of appropriate fabrics; cut apart on drawn lines.
