Sew It!
Step 1.
Trace Templates A-G on paper side of paper-backed fusible web. Cut apart, leaving small margin beyond drawn lines. Following manufacturer's instructions, fuse to wrong side of appropriate fabrics; cut apart on drawn lines.
Step 2. Finger press lavender texture and cream/lavender print 6" x 9" rectangles in half lengthwise and crosswise; use folds as placement guide. Position template fabrics in alphabetical order on lavender and cream/lavender 6" x 9" rectangles, centering and keeping inside 1/4" seam allowances (see Diagram I and photo). Following manufacturer's instructions, fuse in place. Machine or hand buttonhole stitch around appliqué using black thread (Diagram II). With black marker, draw bunny facial features (see Template C).

Step 3. Referring to Assembly Diagram, sew 3 rows of 3 blocks each, alternating lavender and cream/lavender backgrounds, and placing bunny block in center of middle row. Sew rows together. Stitch pink stripe 1 1/2" x 30" strips to sides; trim even with top and bottom. Stitch remaining pink stripe strips to top/bottom; trim even with sides. Sew yellow floral 3 1/2" x 32" strips to sides; trim even. Sew remaining yellow strips to top/bottom; trim even.

Step 4. Layer and baste quilt top for quilting method of your choice. Jereé machine quilted in the ditch between blocks and around the inner border. Add embellishments to egg shapes as desired. Tie bow using assorted pastel print 1" x 11" strip; tack to bunny's head. Tack buttons to bunny face for eyes (see Template C). Lightly color bunny's inner ears with pink crayon. Bind quilt with purple check fabric (see Quiltmaking Fundamentals).
