You Need:
Assorted red textures (blocks) 2 yds. total
Assorted white-on-white prints and white-on-cream prints (blocks) 2 1/2 yds. total
Assorted green textures (blocks) 1 1/4 yds. total
Red print (inner border) 3/8 yd.
Cream/red/green floral (outer border) 2 yds.
Red mottle (binding) 3/4 yd.
Backing (piece widthwise) 3 3/4 yds.
Batting Twin size
Sewing thread
Machine quilting thread

Plan!
Gather all your green and red texture prints and create this holiday beauty. The pretty holiday print used for the border is made by Moda.

Cut!
Assorted red texturescut a total of:
... 40 squares 4 7/8" x 4 7/8", cut in half diagonally to make 80 half-square triangles
... 80 rectangles 2 1/2" x 4 1/2"
... 40 squares 2 7/8" x 2 7/8", cut in half diagonally to make 80 half-square triangles
Assorted white-on-white prints and white-on-cream printscut a total of:
... 40 squares 4 7/8" x 4 7/8", cut in half diagonally to make 80 half-square triangles
... 320 squares 2 1/2" x 2 1/2"
Assorted green texturescut a total of:
... 80 rectangles 2 1/2" x 4 1/2"
... 20 squares 3 3/8" x 3 3/8"
Red print
... 2 strips 1 1/2" x 64", pieced from 4 width of fabric (WOF) strips
... 2 strips 1 1/2" x 54", pieced from 3 WOF strips
Cream/red/green floral
... 4 strips 4 1/2" x 65", cut on lengthwise grain
*Cut first.

Sew!
1. Sew assorted red texture and assorted white-on-white 4 7/8" half-square triangles together (see Diagram I) to make pieced triangle square. Make 80 total.
2. Draw diagonal line on wrong side of assorted white print 2 1/2" square with marking tool of your choice. Place white square on assorted red texture 2 1/2" x 4 1/2" rectangle, aligning raw edges (Diagram II-A). Stitch on drawn line. Trim and discard excess fabric; press open. Repeat on opposite end of red texture rectangle to make pieced rectangle. Make 80 total. Repeat process, using assorted white 2 1/2" squares on assorted green texture 2 1/2" x 4 1/2" rectangle. Make 80 total. Sew pieced red rectangle and pieced green rectangle together (Diagram II-B) to make pieced rectangle square. Make 80 total.
