PLANNING
The construction for the blue and pink quilts is identical. To make the blue quilt, simply use the blue fabrics (as noted in parentheses) in place of the pink and rose fabrics.

CUTTING THE FABRIC
White solid
... 6 squares 7 5/8" x 7 5/8"
... 12 squares 3 3/8" x 3 3/8"
... 6 squares 6 1/4" x 6 1/4", cut in half twice diagonally to make 24 quarter-square tri-angles
... 24 squares 3" x 3"
... 8 squares 2 1/8" x 2 1/8"
... 16 squares 1 3/4" x 1 3/4"
Pink novelty (medium blue) print

... 4 strips 4 1/4" x WOF

Light pink (light blue) print
... 12 squares 5 7/8" x 5 7/8", cut in half diagonally to make 24 half-square triangles
... 24 squares 3 3/8" x 3 3/8", cut in half diagonally to make 48 half-square triangles
Dark rose (dark blue)print

... *4 strips 1 1/2" x width of fabric (WOF)

Step 1. Stitch light pink 5 7/8" half-square triangles to sides of white 7 5/8" square as shown in Diagram I. Make 6 Square in a Square Blocks.
