4. Arrange and sew vertical rows using cloud print 3 1/2" squares, strip set segments and 2" x 3 1/2" yellow plaid center rectangle (Diagram IV). Sew vertical rows together to make Tile Block. Make 4 blocks of this color group. Repeat Steps 1-4 for each of the 3 remaining color groups. Make 16 blocks total.
5. To make sashing rows, stitch 5 yellow plaid 2" squares and 4 green floral 2" x 12 1/2" strips together as shown in the Assembly Diagram. Make 5. To make block rows, sew 5 green floral 2" x 14" strips and 4 blocks together. Make 4. Alternating block rows with sashing rows, sew rows together.
6. Layer and baste quilt top for quilting method of your choice. Daphne machine quilted a meander on the quilt.
7. To make pieced binding, sew assorted print 2 1/2" x WOF strips together (Diagram V). Bind quilt with pieced strip (see Quiltmaking Fundamentals).
