3. If your rotary ruler is larger than 10" square, position ruler so 10" perpendicular lines on ruler are within pieced square and other 2 edges of 10" square are also within pieced square.
Trim 2 sides of block.
Rotate block, aligning 10" lines on cut edges, and trim remaining 2 edges.
Trim 12 total Sail Boat Blocks, each at a slightly different angle.

4. To make sashing row, sew 4 green squares and 3 blue strips together (Assembly Diagram). Make 5. To make 4 block rows, sew 4 blue strips and 3 blocks together each. Stitch sashing and block rows together.
5. Sew red print strips to sides; trim even with top and bottom. Stitch remaining red strips to top/bottom; trim even with sides.

6. Layer, baste, and quilt. Lisa machine quilted an allover meander. Bind with blue texture (see Quiltmaking Fundamentals).
