Quick Quilts - January 2007 Issue She loves to ski and she loves the snow, so when Carolyn Kerkla of Aurora, Illinois, saw Winter Windows (Quick Quilts, January 2002) she had to make it using her collection of blue, white and silver fabrics. For only her third quilting project, Carolyn writes, "I was thrilled with how well it turned out."   Peggy Fulton of Lewiston, Idaho, sent us a picture of her Stack the Deck placemats (Quick Quilts, May 2006). She made them as a wedding present for her nephew, and has placed them on her "wish list" as well because she likes them so much!
