Quick Quilts - November 2004 Issue

Geraldine Isackson of New Ulm, Minnesota, made Happy Hauntings (Quick Quilts, November 2003) for her best friend of 45 years, Mary Beth Sehr, shown holding her gift.

Happy Hauntings

Timeless

Lorrie Franz of Otsego, Minnesota, and her quilting friends challenged themselves to make Christmas quilts from fabrics out of their stashes. Lorrie chose Timeless (Quick Quilts, September 2001), enlarged the block size to fussy cut birds for the block centers, and only broke the "stash" rule by purchasing the backing fabric. Shown holding the finished quilt are quilting companions Lorri Schuler (left) and Janet Koutlagas (right).
