Quick Quilts - November 2005 Issue     Snuggled warmly in this version of Hard Candy (Quick Quilts, January 2004) is Shannon, the youngest daughter of Katie Brown of Walpole, New Hampshire. Katie is a new quilter with little sewing experience, and tells us the "directions were easy to follow. The piecing was simple and the snowball blocks were a great place to practice meander quilting."   Pat Habiger, right, of Spearville, Kansas, is shown with her sister Jeanette Urbom, comparing their versions of Maple Leaf (Quick Quilts, September 2002). Both sisters have made many quilts, have large fabric stashes, and were taught to quilt by their mother.
