Quick Quilts - November 2007 Issue   Sandal Savvy (Quick Quilts, July 2006) was the inspiration for Amy Siegfried of Riverside, California. Angela, pictured on the right, is part of a group of pre-op nurses who call themselves "the flip-flop gals", so this was the perfect gift for Amy to give Angela for her birthday.   Shalom and Hannah are snuggled up in Basically Batik (Quick Quilts, May 2007). Made by their grandmother, Sherrill Barker of Red Deer, Alberta, Canada, for her nephew's wedding, the colors and patterns of the batiks delighted everyone, and Sherrill enjoyed quilting it in a "funky" way.
