Quick Quilts - March 2005 Issue     Scraps donated by her quilting mentors were the perfect pieces for new quilter Maria Cini of Farmington, Michigan, to use in her second quilt, Rainbow Ribbons (Quick Quilts, July 2003). She loves the vibrant colors of the fabrics from her friends in the "Scraps and Snacks!" quilting group, and the simplicity of the pattern directions.   Signs of Spring (Quick Quilts, March 2002) was the inspiration for Sandi Dizel of Parkesburg, Pennsylvania, and twin sister Sharon McArthur to make a housewarming gift for their younger sister, Nancy, of Gulf Breeze, Florida.
