Quick Quilts - March 2007 Issue Beth Sherwin of Matteson, Illinois, enlarged the pattern for Brown Eyed Susan (Quick Quilts, May 2005) to make her version fit a dorm bed for her daughter, Abigail. She added 2 rows of daisies and also enlarged the outer border. Beth said she found the instructions easy to follow, and the magazine's bright pictures get her inspired to make more quilts!   Vincent Christopher loves his quilt t-h-i-s much! Winter Solstice (Quick Quilts, January 2006) inspired Tess Bianco of Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania, to make this version for her handsome 6-month-old great-nephew. She added appliquéd lambs to celebrate his springtime birth.   Winter Sampler (Quick Quilts, January 2001) inspired Carol Horrell of Latrobe, Pennsylvania, to make a perfect mid-winter project. She was able to use lots of fabrics from her stash!
