Quick Quilts - March 2008 Issue   Nancy Ottaviano (left) of Yorba Linda, California, made her version of Mr. Snowman (Quick Quilts, January 2007) as a birthday gift for her friend Mona (right), who collects snowmen. Nancy added sparkly fabric for the hat, face, and nose, and metallic thread and crystals on each quilted snowflake. She named her version Mr. "Bling Bling" Snowman.   Mrs. Alexa Lucente of Midway, British Columbia, Canada, used 1 Fish, 2 Fish (Quick Quilts, May 2007) as a project for her Home Economics class. Her students at Boundary Secondary School are pictured with their creative versions.
