Quick Quilts - May 2006 Issue Across the Fields (Quick Quilts, Winter 1998/99) is the first quilt made by Anne Fossum of Sherwood Park, Alberta, Canada. It was made for a gift exchange within her extended family.   Linda Andrew of Indiana, Pennsylvania, displays the quilt she made as a birthday gift for her best friend. Linda had only been quilting for a year when she made Country Spirit (Quick Quilts, March 2002).
