Quick Quilts - September 2003 Issue     Pictured at right: Mary Keller of Augusta, Illinois, sent us this picture of her version of Log Cabin Apples (Quick Quilts, November 2002) held by her daughter, Anita, who is a teacher. This is Mary's first attempt at appliqué and a diagonal setting. Pictured below: Plaid shirts and old jeans from both Dad and Mom went into making this version of Shirts and Pants (Quick Quilts, November 2002). Eileen McMillan of Woodland Park, Colorado, made this quilt so son, David, would have a touch of home while he attends college at Colorado School of Mines.
